Microsoft Exchange – Cloud Solution Provider Programme is being replaced with Microsoft’s New Commerce Experience. NCE aims to simplify the licencing programmes and consolidate them into 3 new ways to buy.

How the subscriptions work

NCE allows for a fixed subscription and a Monthly Subscription to run concurrently. This means that core users can always access the best price and part-time staff can be licensed on a monthly basis.

NCE Monthly Subscriptions

  • This is similar to the current CSP model.
  • Licences can be both increased and decreased each month.
  • Changes must be made 3 days (72 hours) prior to the monthly renewal.

NCE Annual Subscription (12 Month Term)

  • Licences are for a fixed term of one year
  • You cannot decrease the number of licences. 
  • Licenses can be increased and the difference for new licenses will be pro-rata in keeping with the existing subscription.

NCE 3 Year Subscription (36 Month Term)*

  • Licences are for a fixed term of 3 years.
  • Licenses cannot be decreased during this period.
  • Licenses can be increased and the difference for new licenses will be pro-rated in keeping with the existing subscription.
  • License cost locked for 3 years.
